Materials & Finish

Célestin is constructed with a plywood frame, polyurethane foam cushioning, polyester upholstery and iron components. The black textured upholstery wraps the curved backrest and generously padded seat, creating a soft, tactile finish, while the discreet swivel base maintains the chair's low, rounded silhouette.

Care & Longevity

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and scouring materials that may damage the textured upholstery or base. Attend to spills promptly by gently blotting rather than rubbing, and avoid excessive moisture. Periodically check the swivel mechanism and assembly points to ensure the chair remains secure during use.

The Maison Note

Célestin pairs the comfort of a generously cushioned lounge chair with the flexibility of a swivel base, making it an inviting seat that can adapt naturally to the way a room is used. Position beside a sofa as a swivel accent chair, create a dedicated reading area, or use in a bedroom seating space. Pair with warm timber, cream upholstery or brushed metallic finishes to balance the depth of the black textured fabric.
